Taking care of your mental health is just like taking care of your physical help, you do not want to wait until there’s a concern to start. That’s not to say that some people don’t have conditions of concern even though they’ve taken amazing care of themselves. I am not a mental health professional (yet) and I recommend that if you do have concerns with your mental health you seek out professional assistance. I live everyday with depression and anxiety. I don’t say I suffer with either because I have more good days than bad. The resources that I am sharing are just that, they are resources for you to further explore in order to help take care of your personal health. No one diet is perfect for all individuals and neither is one Mental Health methodology appropriate for everyone. I hope that by sharing my story it will help others not feel alone and remember it takes great strength to ask for help…it does not mean you are weak.
